POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team, focused on developing cloud solutions for the precision manufacturing industry, specifically in sheet metal processing.

In this role, you will design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and ensure the scalability of cloud systems that power advanced laser cutting, bending, and automation technologies. Your work will contribute to streamlining complex manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and enhancing overall system performance.

LOCATION: Ukraine (remote), Tashkent (Uzbekistan)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE or a related field.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience setting up and managing Azure DevOps environments, including projects, repositories, and pipelines (Classic and YAML)
  • Knowledge of Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts, and Service Connections
  • Solid understanding of Azure services, including Blob Storage, Virtual Networks, App Services, and IAM
  • Proficiency in using Azure CLI and PowerShell for cloud operations
  • Strong experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with deployment strategies (e.g., Blue/Green, Canary) and testing integration
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or batch scripts to automate DevOps tasks
  • Expertise in Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts
  • Experience implementing security best practices in pipelines, managing sensitive information with Azure Key Vault, and code vulnerability scanning
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and effective communication of DevOps workflows and processes

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with HashiCorp Nomad, Docker, or Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and its management in production environments
  • Exposure to other CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD

DUTIES:

  • Manage projects, repositories, and pipelines in Azure DevOps (Classic/YAML)
  • Configure Azure Blob Storage, Virtual Networks, and App Services
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with testing and deployment strategies
  • Deploy and manage Nomad jobs in CI/CD workflows
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and batch scripting
  • Manage PostgreSQL databases and perform backup/restore
  • Implement Git branching strategies and manage repositories
  • Apply security practices with Azure Key Vault and RBAC
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices and ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide regular status updates to team members and stakeholders, addressing progress, challenges, and roadblocks to maintain transparency and alignment with project goals
