We are looking for a Full-stack PHP/Symfony Engineer to join our technical team to help improve existing and create new web applications. Were looking for a self-driven developer who cares about the overall project. Primary Duties:
  • Develop web applications using PHP (Symfony), VueJS, PostgreSQL, and MySQL;
  • Follow the PSR-2 coding style guide;
  • Collaborate with the dev team to analyze and classify tasks, change requests, and possible enhancements;
  • Assist front-end developers with client-side solutions and troubleshooting;
  • Work with PMs, engineers, and designers to analyze complex change requests and evaluate possible enhancements;
  • Conduct peer reviews.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience developing with PHP 7.x/8.x (Symfony), VueJS, and MySQL;
  • Understanding of OOP fundamentals;
  • Experience with building and integrating RESTful APIs;
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MySQL;
  • Experience with Docker, Nginx, Git, Gitflow, and unit testing;
  • Understanding of SOLID and Clean Code principles;
  • Good written and spoken English for effective communication;
  • Self-organizing with the initiative to drive resolutions for open issues;
  • Result-oriented.
As a Plus:
  • Experience with Slim and Zend Framework;
  • Experience with Redis, Kubernetes, JavaScript, Vue.js, RabbitMQ, and NodeJS;
  • Attention to web page performance and security.
