Senior Data Engineer

Our customer ( Brooklyn, New York) is a pioneering healthcare technology company with the power to unlock the mysteries of being human. They collect accurate real-world data that is relevant and actionable, tailored to everything from patient support to clinical trials.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;
  • Hands-on experience with SQL database design;
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques;
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming and PySpark;
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL;
  • Experience with AWS services such as Glue, Redshift, Step Functions, Lambda Functions, and CloudFormation;
  • Experience with GitHub Actions;
  • English — Upper-Intermediate level.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and organize raw data;
  • Build data systems and pipelines;
  • Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling;
  • Develop analytical tools and programs;
  • Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects.
